Hope earned her BA from Bowdoin College, majoring in English with a minor in Teaching Studies. After graduation, Hope spent a year teaching in rural Connecticut before returning to Maine to teach 11th Grade English and become a certified teacher.
It was only a matter of time before Hope would return to her native New York. Prior to joining the Fusion family, Hope was a 4th Grade teacher at a charter school in Harlem. She taught in an Integrated Co-Teaching classroom and provided Special Education Teacher Support Services. After a year in Fusion’s Homework Café, Hope is ready to return to the classroom. She is eager to help students unleash their writing super powers and get excited about books. Hope believes that all students can love reading and writing, and the right English teacher can make the magic happen!
