Helena Landin is a Math and Science Teacher. She earned her master’s degree in Chemical Engineering at Lund University, Sweden, and her PhD in Physical Biology at Lund University, Sweden. Helena earned her teaching credential at Notre Dame de Namur, Belmont.
Helena volunteered for several years at her children’s K-8 school, San Carlos Charter Learning Center, in the classroom as well as in many other capacities. After earning her credential last year, Helena worked as a substitute teacher.
Helena loves being outdoors, where she enjoys fly fishing, hiking or skiing. She also loves spending time with her husband, kids and Labrador.
Fun Fact: Helena is half Danish, half Swedish and is fluent in German as well. The official family language is “Swinglish”.
