Hannah joined Fusion as an English and Language Arts teacher to help students develop strong writing and reading skills. She completed a bachelor’s degree in English (comparative literature) and the Scholars in the World Honors Program at Dominican University of California, then went on to earn a master’s degree in English (literature with a research focus in postcolonial studies) from California State University Sacramento. Before Fusion, she worked as a college-level reading and writing tutor for four years. She followed that with another two years tutoring high school and middle school English privately. She was also delighted to accept an invitation to serve as the 2016 Sigma Tau Delta guest lecturer for Dominican University’s Literature and Languages Department. Outside of work, she loves to read (pretty much anything and everything she can), watch basketball, and spend time outside running, hiking, or swimming. Something that is not well know about Hannah is that gold fireworks makes her cry. She has no explanation for this, but it certainly makes the 4th of July is a particularly traumatic event for me each year. How embarrassing . . .
