Grace Denis is a multidisciplinary artist born and raised in Los Angeles. Her work implements a multitude of mediums including photography, sculpture, painting, sound, and installation. She studied at California Institute for The Arts and École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art. She has a strong passion for pedagogical practices and has taught students between the ages of five and eighteen at various institutions in the Los Angeles vicinity including Wilding Cran Gallery, Center for The Arts Eagle Rock, Venice Arts, and ArTES Magnet. She has worked extensively with Community Arts Partnership creating non-profit community arts education programs for places such as Hauser and Wirth Gallery and Newhall Elementary. She has spent the past few years living and working between Paris and Los Angeles, and participated in an artist residency in Senegal in 2016. Her work has been exhibited in Paris, Manchester, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Kyoto.
Hobbies: Art, yoga, meditation, reading.
