Garnett Meise teaches computer programming while showing students how to design and program video games. Garnett initially majored in physics at New College of Florida. After a change of heart, he decided to major in applied mathematics and computer science. He graduated the top of his field from Purdue University in Indianapolis. Throughout Garnett’s academic career he has gravitated towards teaching, helping his peers both informally as a friend and formally as a teacher’s assistant. In his spare time at Purdue University, Garnett taught himself how to program and create video games. Unsurprisingly, one of Garnett’s favorite past times is playing video games. When he is not defeating members of the evil team Dire, he enjoys reading about current events, listening to science fiction and fantasy audiobooks, and spending time with his wife.
