Forrest Mitchell is the Director of First Impressions at Fusion Academy Pasadena. Forrest grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area where he developed a strong passion for music. He started playing drums at the age of 10 and immediately joined his middle school jazz band.
Forrest’s love for music only grew during his years at Berkeley High School where he played several national jazz festivals and participated in a European tour. Forrest then studied Ethnomusicology, jazz, and music business at UCLA. During his time there he played in multiple groups ranging in style from Jazz, to hip hop, to pop. Since then, Forrest has toured in Macedonia and Kosovo, made several TV appearances, and worked as the studio manager at Atlantic Records Hollywood.
In Forrest’s spare time he’s most likely working on new music projects, attending local car shows, chilling on the beach, or biting into a massive burrito.
