Esther has joined our Dallas family as a teacher/mentor in the areas of Spanish and History. She was born in Mexico City and studied there until middle school. By the age of five Esther already knew she wanted to become a teacher. After completing eighth grade, her family moved to the DFW region. Once Esther graduated high school, she went to Texas Woman’s University to study music and history. Esther has worked in many different areas while working towards beginning her career in education, spanning from hotel services to playing music in a mariachi band. Eventually, she graduated from TWU with her BA in General Studies, and she was able to pursue her long-desired career in teaching.
Esther has incredibly enjoyed her time here at Fusion. When not on campus, she also enjoys spending time with her husband and her daughter. Esther’s hobbies are music, reading, watching movies, cooking, and exercise. Also, if you’re near any one of DFW’s lakes or parks at any given time, you might just find Esther biking around with her family.
