Emily Weiskopf joined Fusion as a teacher in Fall of 2018. Prior to her coming to Fusion, Emily served as a teacher in both the public and private sector, in addition to teaching and advising in Higher Ed for over a decade in the Northeast. While a majority of her teaching has been in Studio Arts, she has also taught Professional Development and worked with students of differing abilities since 2007. Lastly, she has helped design curriculum, establish events and programing, Co-Directed and served on various Non-Profit boards in the arts. She continues to serve on the Board of A.O.T (Architects of Tomorrow) a Nonprofit Arts Education located in Brooklyn, NY.
In her spare time, she is likely to be found in her art studio working away, swimming or training in Jiu-Jitsu, planting a cactus, traveling or passionately volunteering actively in the community. Emily holds both a BFA in Fine Arts from the Hartford Art School, a Master’s in Printmaking from the Tyler School of Art, Temple University, and a K-12 Certification in Art Education from Brooklyn College. Her art works are represented in both private and public collections and she is currently working on sculpture commissions debuting in both 2018 and 2019.
