As the Director of Student Development, Caroline is responsible for student scheduling, course planning, transcript interpretation, and maintaining the path for all students post-secondary plans. Caroline takes on this role after a successful stint as the Director of First Impressions at the Tyson campus.
Caroline is an honor graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia, where she earned a B.A degree in Visual Communication with a concentration in Fine Arts. During her summer breaks, Caroline worked as a Staff Counselor and later as the Assistant Director of the Cherokee YMCA Outdoor Camps where she worked with children of all ages and backgrounds in developing a structured outdoor learning experience. During her school terms, Caroline worked as a Manager of a local clothing boutique in downtown Savannah.
A Canton, Georgia native, Caroline grew up with a love of the Arts and a passion for soccer. She played soccer year ‘round on her club team, participating in tournaments from Miami to San Diego. She also helped lead her high school team to the state playoffs, setting a school single season record for assists her junior year. When she wasn’t on the soccer pitch, she could often be found at the pottery wheel, the screen printer, or deep into some form of mixed media art project. Caroline has also developed a love for jewelry making, and actively creates and sells her original pieces on her Etsy shop.
Caroline lives in Alexandria where she is “Mom” to her two dogs, Daisy and Pennie. She is excited to be a part of the Fusion community of excellence.
