Desiree Cheuvront joined Fusion as a Foreign Languages and Art teacher in 2016. She studied Studio Art, French, and Spanish at San Diego Mesa College. Desiree earned a Bachelor’s in Linguistics at UC San Diego with a focus in Cognition and Language, as well as a minor in Education Studies. During school she served as a student teacher of World Languages and worked in a Cognitive Electrophysiology lab. She also got the opportunity to study abroad in France and Central America.
Desiree spends her free time playing volleyball, painting, and playing with mud (ceramics). She likes to travel and make frequent visits to her hometown of Bishop, California. She hopes to someday go back to school to pursue her interests in Education and Cognitive Science.
