Dawne Morison is the Master Teacher at the Boca Raton campus, offering support and guidance to teaching staff while teaching a small number of her own students. She is a certified teacher with a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Hartford and a Bachelor’s from Trinity College with honors in English Literature. In addition to being a classroom teacher for many years, Dawne founded and directed an early childhood play space and preschool program in her home state of Connecticut. After moving to Florida, she wrote curriculum for Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County and worked as an English tutor after taking some time to homeschool her son and daughter.
Dawne most enjoys spending time with her family, including watching her son play baseball and her daughter’s dance and theatre activities. She is a voracious reader and especially loves to read on the beach. Dawne is also a lover of all things pastry and can happily lose herself for hours in bowls of flour, sugar, and butter!
