Danielle Ross

Teacher/Mentor

Danielle is a Science teacher at Fusion Academy’s Westchester campus. She graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a degree in Journalism and also participated in the Film Studies production program to hone her skills in directing and video editing. Danielle went on to work for Live with Regis & Kelly in New York and eventually served as evening broadcast news Director for the FOX affiliate in Charlotte, North Carolina. She returned to school in 2011 to pursue pre-medical sciences where she focused on Biochemistry, and Chemistry at the University of North Carolina Charlotte. She participated in undergraduate research investigating the use of Nano-technology as direct drug delivery systems. Danielle continued in cardiovascular sciences, participating in undergraduate research at Wake Forest University in a partnership with the Graduate Studies Department and Wake Forest School of Medicine.

 As a Colorado native, Danielle prefers the outdoors whenever possible and is excited to find a home in the beautiful state of Connecticut. She is a self-titled film buff and will chat about movies if prompted.  Danielle lives with her family, two cats, and two dogs in Stamford. She is excited to join Fusion and looks forward to the upcoming school year.
