I am currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree at California State University, Northridge in Kinesiology- Physical Education. I hope to one day be an occupational therapist and assist those with different physical and mental needs.
I do not have any credentials yet but I am CPR, AED and First-aid certified in Infants, Children and Adults! I am a strong advocate for such certifications! Go get yours today; you could very well save a life. In the summer of 2013 I traveled overseas and interned in a group home for adults with disabilities called Bet Kessler. I worked in the physical therapy and occupational therapy department. I also assisted the patients during their hydrotherapy appointments and had a chance to shadow a few therapy sessions in a room called Snoezelen! This internship solidified that I am choosing the right career path and I cannot wait to change the world one step and smile at a time!
Hobbies: Spending as much time with and spoiling those I love, traveling, reading, going to concerts, baking, arts & crafts, babysitting and making people smile!
