Connie is the Post-Secondary Counselor at Fusion Academy Princeton. She graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Child Advocacy and Policy from Montclair State University, where she conducted in depth study of Child Psychology, Child Law, and Public Child Welfare. She immediately went on to obtain her Master’s Degree in Counseling Services from Rider University, in addition to her certification in Student Assistance Coordinating. Before joining the Fusion Family, Connie worked as a public high school guidance counselor, in which she focused on the college application and financial aid processes, as well as connecting students to other post-secondary resources.
Connie’s approach to counseling focuses on rehabilitation as opposed to punishment, due to her strong beliefs in the resiliency of students. She is passionate about helping students, and presents this through her unique blend of humor and high, positive energy. She believes that every student is entitled to an exceptional education, and she whole-heartedly believes Fusion delivers. Outside of school, Connie is a music concert/festival enthusiast, having seen over 100 artists. She enjoys movies, reading, and frequenting the beach.
