Cong teaches Mandarin Chinese at Fusion. He graduated from Fudan University in Shanghai, China in 1982 with a BA in Biology. He came to the United States to pursue his graduate education in Molecular Biology in 1987. Three year later, he received his MS from the University of Louisville, Kentucky. In 1997, he enrolled in the MBA program at the University of Iowa, and received his MBA in 1999. Cong is also a gifted translator. He has translated five books from English to Chinese. Cong possesses great appreciation and passion for Chinese and American history, literature and culture, and will integrate his in-depth knowledge in these areas into his teaching practice here at Fusion.
In his spare time, Cong loves reading non-fictions with wide-ranging topics (Science, History, Food, Biography, and Memoir). He loves hiking with his wife and biking, and he is an avid fan of baseball and Ken Burns’ documentaries.
