I was born in Fairfax (September 11, 1992), and have remained in the nova area ever since! I’ve lived in Fairfax, Midland, Woodbridge, and Manassas (where I currently reside). Growing up, I used to spend my summers and other breaks from school tending to my grandparents’ farm in Catlett (so I guess I can say the cliché that I came from “humble beginnings”). I graduated high school (Osbourn Park) in 2010; I was then enrolled at Virginia Tech with a degree in the bizarre combination of Chemistry and English. After earning my B.S. Chemistry degree, I found a part-time job as a tutor in an attempt to try and diminish my astronomical amount of student loans. I quickly found that teaching felt natural and comfortable to me, and I continued to do so for two years before finding employment at Fusion Academy. When I’m not busy trying to adjust to adulthood, I love to read and write short stories and poetry, play video games, play football, baseball, and tennis with friends, and of course devoting most of my time and energy into appeasing my attention-craving Border Collie’s (he is named Rebel) ceaseless desire to go on walks and play with his football.
