Chelsea is excited to come to the Fusion Palo Alto campus as the Director of Student Development. In this role, she gets to work with families and students to plan each student’s unique school journey. Chelsea has always loved helping people find their passion and pursue their interests.
Chelsea was born and raised in the Bay Area, growing up mainly in the east bay. Chelsea attended San Francisco State University where she earned her BA in Mathematics and Teaching. After graduation, she was lucky to find a Fusion Academy opening in her home town of Walnut Creek, CA. She taught Math and became the Mathematics Department Head for the Walnut Creek campus as of August 2012. She recently transferred to Palo Alto to be able to help students navigate their high school career and choose classes that they love. She still loves math, and has many books in her office if you ever want to explore the mathematics of everyday life!
Chelsea loves baking and crafting at home and going to A’s games every summer. She likes to go hiking with her boyfriend and exploring local landmarks and museums around the Bay Area.
