Cathy has always had a passion for physical and mental health. Having practiced meditation and yoga for over 15 years, Cathy enjoys teaching others contemplative practices that have helped her manage her own stress and anxiety. In addition to teaching at Fusion, Cathy has experience as a Mental Health Counselor and is an Adjunct Professor at George Washington University where she teaches Stress-Management. She holds a B.A. from Elon University and her M.Ed in Counseling and Development from George Mason University.
In addition to her Post-Secondary Counselor role, Cathy will also teach Physical Education, Yoga and Life Skills.
In her spare time you can find Cathy hiking, cooking, and traveling. Apart from her passion for health and wellness Cathy also loves languages. Growing up speaking Spanish and English in a bilingual household her life long goal is to one day achieve fluency in French and Italian.
