As a teacher at Fusion Academy, Brian Aspell offers instruction in math and science, ranging from chemistry and physics to anatomy and biology. He earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from UCLA, a master’s degree in education at UCSB. He has worked as a chemistry and physics instructor at Community Charter High School, in the San Fernando Valley for three years. Brian enjoys writing and performing music, playing piano, guitar, mandolin, and accordion. He also enjoys playing basketball, being outdoors, and of course, spending time with his wife, Kit, and their dog, Harvey. Brian loves traveling, and his favorite memories include swimming in the Amazon River, diving with seals and sea turtles in the Galapagos, walking the streets of Jerusalem, and backpacking through Europe.
