Becca teaches Math and Science at Fusion. She graduated from Cedar Crest College in 2004 with a BS in Biochemistry. Pursuing an interest in cardiac pharmacology, she obtained her PhD in Pharmacology in 2009 from SUNY Upstate Medical University. While doing her postdoctoral fellowship in the cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Minnesota, she discovered a passion for teaching. Since then she has taught math and science at the preschool, middle school, and college levels. While her journey to education has not been typical, she is happy to finally find a home at Fusion.
When she is not teaching, Becca spends her time crocheting hats and blankets. She loves learning and is currently teaching herself how to knit. Becca loves to read dystopian literature, binge watch all-things nerdy, and put puzzles together.
