Armando was born and raised in Orange County, California. He has a degree in biology from UC Berkeley with an emphasis in human health. Even though his degree is in biology, he has over ten years of experience tutoring math and science to grades K-12, and about seven years of experience teaching math and science in a classroom setting. In 2012, Armando completed the Agroecology Apprenticeship at UCSC, and enjoys teaching young people about organic farming and gardening.

Hobbies: He enjoys the outdoors, hiking, gardening, and cycling.
