Ari Selinger is the Film and Screenwriting teacher at Fusion Academy. Growing up with a passion for stories of all kinds, Ari developed his love of filmmaking by spending time at the local VHS store in Hartsdale, New York where he attended Solomon Schechter School of Westchester. After honing his craft by making films in high school with friends, Ari moved on to attend NYU’s Tisch School of The Arts for Filmmaking, graduating with a Bachelors Degree in 2013. After finishing his thesis film Moondog Airwaves, Ari moved to the Bronx where he currently lives with his girlfriend (who is an Art Teacher in the Bronx) and continues to write and shoot movies. Inspired by the thought of sharing everything he’s learned as a filmmaker he is excited to start mentoring the filmmakers of the future!
