Originally from Chicago, Angelica received her bachelor’s degree in Molecular & Cellular Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She then went on to receive her master’s in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University.
Stemming from interactions with her younger sister, Angelica learned American Sign Language. Throughout college Angelica focused heavily in the sciences and worked as mentor to her peers as a resident advisor. Upon moving to Washington, D.C. strengthened her scientific background while working in an emergency room while also tutoring youth in reading, math, and science.
In her spare time, Angelica enjoys reading fiction novels, listening to music, and hanging with friends!
