Alka Chaudhary holds a BA in Psychology and Spanish/ Latin American Literatures and Cultures from New York University. She is devoted to helping others. Before Fusion, Alka was a seventh grade student teacher for six years at Carmel Middle School in Indiana. She also has experience working as a crisis counselor on the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. In Alka’s free time, she presents at international conferences on the benefits of Psycho-education with TARA4BPD.
Alka joined the Fusion team because she is passionate about making learning interactive, fun and manageable for all students. She enjoys making things relatable and relevant. She really appreciates that Fusion creates an atmosphere to help students balance mental, physical and emotional health.
Alka hopes to open up young minds to their inner passions and inspire them to live fulfilled, healthy and dynamic lives. In her free time, she most enjoys video-chatting with her nephew – and soon with her new niece as well! Alka also loves to travel; her favorite locations are Jordan and Spain. She is proud to have broken a pair of sunglasses inside one of the Pyramids of Giza, and likes to imagine the lenses are still there, in the dust. Alka has been an avid dancer since she was five-years-old, and also loves the theater. She is a die-hard Indianapolis Colts fan.
