California State University, Northridge B.A., History
Credential Held: Social Science
I discovered my passion for teaching during my undergraduate years at Cal State Northridge. There, I studied history with a focus on Latin American and Los Angeles history. Through my degree program I had the fortune of being involved in the curating of a museum exhibit showcasing the history behind the founding of Los Angeles. This experience opened my eyes to the power and necessity of education. From there, I continued my educational pursuit by enrolling into CSUN’s credential program where I completed a full year of student teaching within Los Angeles Unified School District. Once finished, I earned a single subject teaching credential in Social Science. As a native Spanish speaker, I look towards the addition of a bilingual authorization to my credential. Now at Fusion I have been honored with the opportunity of teaching tomorrow’s leaders in a one-to-one learning environment. When I’m not teaching I enjoy being stuck in traffic on the 101 Freeway and listening to podcasts.
Hobbies: Baseball, Movie-going, and exploring Los Angeles
