As the Director of Student Development, Ada Jovel offers students and families guidance in planning to achieve their goals.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Houston-Downtown with honors. She also minored in Spanish and was Vice President of the Pre-Law Student Association.
Ada worked with admissions and counseling departments in the Alief Independent School District in Houston, Texas for the past four years. As a former paralegal, she provided guidance for families seeking citizenship in the United States.
She likes traveling, watching the Houston Texans play, daily trips to the dog park and is an adrenaline junkie. She has a 130 pound dog, a Great Dane whose name is Abbey.
