William Wiant teaches all high school and middle school sciences, except physics.
He earned his Master of Science degree in biochemistry from the University of North Texas (UNT). He had previously studied biology, chemistry, and Spanish as an undergraduate at UNT when he earned the Faculty Excellence Award his senior year.
He worked for Garland ISD as a high school chemistry teacher for seven years while also teaching biology at Richland College in the evenings and summers.
Will enjoys driving, watching MotoGP and Formula1, and listening to music the most. He also really enjoys being outside, mountain biking, rock climbing, backpacking, canoeing, and camping.
Will was born on the Navajo Nation Indian Reservation. He has traveled extensively. While living in England, Will met Prince Charles who was visiting the school for epileptic children he worked at.
