While at UCLA for his Anthropology BA, Raymond volunteered for Unicamp, where his passion for helping young people achieve academic and social success began. From that fateful day deciding to enroll as a camp counselor, he has since Program Directed college-bound service-learning initiatives for at-risk youth, taught in an educational expedition in Morocco with NASA and JPL engineers, and worked with many amazing people to create a flagship caliber event to bring S.T.E.M. education to underserved youth.
Serving as Director of Student Development, Raymond is excited to bring his variety of skills and experience to helping students at Miracle Mile make the most of their time at Fusion, while pursuing their own dreams. This, of course, is all in addition to playing soccer, playing guitar, walking his two small dogs, watching documentaries with his wife, and waiting for his first child to arrive.
