Elin Agopyan is thrilled to be teaching American Sign Language! She’s a first generation Armenian-American college student and graduate. She attended CSUN, where she earned her BA in Deaf Studies. Through the knowledge and empowerment from Deaf Studies courses, she became involved in social justice issues and d/Deaf Education.
For the past two years, she’s worked as a Registered Behavior Technician allowing herself to work on a one-to-one basis with students in school, home, and community settings. When she’s not running around with her three incredible nephews, you can find her somewhere in nature enjoying her surroundings. Her other passions include art (especially ceramics), activism, and intersectional feminism.
