Michelle is thrilled to be a part of the Fusion team as Interim Director of Admissions and Outreach in Training for Fusion University City! Michelle brings to Fusion her passion for supporting struggling adolescents and families and her belief in the healing power of relationships. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Chapman University and continued on to receive her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University in Los Angeles. Michelle is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and dedicated the past five years at a family therapeutic program where she provided support to pre-teens and teens struggling with a variety of emotional and psychological challenges.
Michelle is honored to have had the privilege of witnessing the transformation that occurs when young people learn to accept and love who they are. Her hope is that through the relationships students develop at Fusion, they learn to: be themselves, trust themselves, and love themselves.
Michelle has learned (and continues to learn!) the importance of balance! When she’s not working, she enjoys time with her family and closest friends who keep her laughing, trying the newest local restaurants (or any restaurant that has burrata on the menu!), going to Pilates to re-ground herself and the occasional visit for acupuncture and cupping (a new passion!). In 2016, Michelle discovered her love of solo travel during her first solo trip to Thailand! Here she found her love for exploring new cultures and was reminded that people are truly good at their core. She also learned that she could subsist on only Thai food for 2 ½ weeks and love every second of it!
