Andrew is the music teacher at Fusion Academy Greenwich. Throughout childhood Andrew was involved in his elementary school’s classical string ensemble, in which he played cello. Once reaching middle school, Andrew began to gain an interest in jazz. He took jazz piano lessons and by his first year of high school, Andrew was the pianist in his high school jazz ensemble. Throughout this time he began experimenting with composition and quickly realized that creating music would become his life’s passion.
At the age of 17, Andrew moved to New York City to pursue his goal of creating music. He received his BFA in Music and Recording Arts from CUNY – The City College of New York. Throughout this time, Andrew gained hands on experience from working in several renowned music studios including The Cutting Room, Eusonia, and Masterdisk. These experiences led Andrew to pursue composition and sound design for film, TV, video games, and mobile applications.
Today, Andrew is a full time composer and music educator. His passion for teaching music has led him to several different roles including the Music Director of a Summer Camp to Private classical piano instructor. When not working on music, Andrew spends his time diving into his other passions which include soccer, painting, brewing, hiking, nature documentaries and his puppy Mason.
