According to the Child Mind Institute, high school students today have more anxiety symptoms and are twice as likely to see mental health professionals as teens in the 1980s. Leah M. Niehaus can help identify the causes and care for teen anxiety. Leah M. Niehaus is an LCSW, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, specializing in children, adolescent, adult, and family psychotherapy. Leah has twenty years experience as a clinician and is a graduate of Pepperdine and CSULB School of Social Work.
"It is difficult to be a child or teenager in today's world--or to be the parent of one--and I enjoy helping each family member find their voice and improve their communication and functioning as a family. I love working with teenagers--helping them to lift their depression and anxiety, communicate better in their relationships, and figure out who they are and what they stand for." - Leah M. Niehaus, LCSW
