Mitchell Danford

Mitchell teaches Studio Arts classes at Fusion’s Solana Beach Campus. He graduated with his BA from California State University Long Beach where he received his degree in Art Education. While attending college Mitchell was very involved in several different non-profit organizations. He has spent some time working in London for Emerge Poverty Free, as well as cycling across the US raising funds and awareness for people with disabilities while volunteering at countless community centers for people with disabilities along the way. After college Mitchell moved back to San Diego and began working as a professional artist mainly focusing on commission work. Before coming to Fusion he spent two years working in after school programs for the Poway Unified School District while continuing to pursue art. In his free time Mitchell enjoys surfing, camping, and rock climbing, but his true passion lies in anything that allows him to use his hands to build and create.
