Danielle is thrilled to be a part of the Fusion Solana Beach team as a homework café teacher. Danielle brings to Fusion her passion for supporting students and families. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from University of the Pacific and continued on to receive her Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction, with an emphasis in Educational Leadership from University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. Danielle has been working in higher Education since 2009. Danielle has a deep passion for helping students reach their potential.
Danielle has her single subject teaching credential in mathematics. During her credential program she was a middle school math teacher where she led the effort to support her students in Math Lab. She came to Fusion after working in Higher Education for the past nine years.
Danielle previously worked at the University of the Pacific as the Assistant Athletic Director of Student-Athlete Services focusing on academic success, and taught Fundamental Skills math courses. In these roles, Danielle advocated for student success, both in the classroom, as an adjunct faculty member, and in the athletic department implementing and directing all student-athlete support services and counseling for students. In addition, she developed and implemented a comprehensive student success program improving retention rates, academic performance, and graduation rates. This comprehensive student success program also included life-skills and academic programing on topics such as time management, study skills, goal setting and career planning.
Danielle loves teaching, mentoring and helping students find and reach their potential. She is very excited about the opportunity at Fusion to make a difference in students’ lives. Danielle has a love of being with her family, teaching cycling, being outside, exercising, and shopping!
