Music & Recording Arts Teacher/Mentor
Nate Harris has been a musician as long as he can remember and now offers guidance, advice, and formal training in the art and practice of Music Performance and Audio Engineering. He earned his Bachelor of Music degree at the University of California in Santa Barbara, graduating with Honors, he has also earned an Audio Engineering diploma from SAE Institute in San Francisco. For the past ten years he has been an active musician collaborating and performing with a variety of groups ranging from popular musical styles of rock, blues, bluegrass, country, old-time, jazz, classical, electronic, hip hop, punk and metal. He has also worked for the past three years as a free-lance audio engineer helping local bands and musicians produce albums or other recordings. In his free time, when it freely appears in his life, Nate enjoys communing with the natural world around him and loves a good hike or just a nice day at the beach. Although, he currently resides in San Francisco, and has lived in California for twelve years, he still slips into his native Massachusetts accent and forgets half of his “R”’s from time to time.
