Eric Andow

Math & Science Teacher/Mentor

Eric is a Bay Area native. He grew up in Marin, and developed a love for wild spaces and nature. As a young man, he lead meetings and outings with the Boy Scouts of America, earning the rank of Life Scout.

Eric earned his bachelor’s in computer science (with a minor in physics) from Cornell College. At Cornell, he split his time between Mock Trial and extracurricular leadership roles.

After college, Eric spent two years teaching at a Quaker boarding school near Iowa City. He recently moved out to California to be closer to family.

Eric has a life-long love of learning. When he was younger, he dreamed of being an astronaut, and taught himself the constellations. He’s currently learning Japanese (with lots of help) in anticipation of a possible trip to Japan.
