(Atlanta – March 23, 2022) Better late than never will ring true at the Fusion Academy Buckhead campus when it partners, families, and members of the community celebrate its Grand Opening nearly three years after the middle and high school opened its doors.
The national leader in personalized one-to-one education opened its first Georgia campus in April 2019. The ongoing COVID pandemic repeatedly delayed celebrating the opening of the education provider’s 53rd campus.
“We are elated at the prospect that we can come together and celebrate our tremendous accomplishments,” said Robert Stewart, Fusion Academy Buckhead Head of School. “Our ability to recognize the patience and resiliency of our students and staff is long overdue.”
Buckhead community members and members of the media are welcome to attend the celebration. The fun-filled evening will include a food truck and plenty of festivities. Details include:

Fusion works with students in three key areas to help them develop the self-determination they need to be successful adults in society, these areas include self-confidence, self-advocacy, and goal setting.
Both Fusion Academy Buckhead and Fusion Academy Alpharetta initially opened their doors in April 2019, . They opened their current campuses in 2020, five weeks after the national emergency was called for the COVID-19 pandemic.
