Don Van Antwerpen


Don Van Antwerpen teaches students in English, History, Japanese, and a number of other subjects as well. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese from Hope College, a Master of Science in Education from Temple University, and a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary. He has more than ten years of experience as a teacher both at the high school level, having got his start as a high school English teacher in Tokyo Japan, and also as an independent tutor, church-instructor, and college adjunct professor. In addition to his work at Fusion, Don is an active youth pastor in the local community, an avid orchestral composer and jazz performer, as well as a husband and father to 2 adorable children. Don speaks 7 languages, plays more than thirty musical instruments, has survived a 9.0 earthquake, once carried a 90-year old woman up a mountain on his back, and has also been to the moon*.
