Sarah Butcher


BA Social Science, English, Westmont College, MFT

Sarah is an English and history teacher at Fusion. She attended Westmont College in Santa Barbara, with a major in social science and a minor in English. She also brings professional experience in the fields of education and psychology. After college, Sarah pursued her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy. Sarah’s previous work experience includes graduate career advising, therapy in community-based, in-home, and school settings, and work with children and adolescents with developmental disorders using a social-emotional developmental approach. Sarah enjoys being a part of the learning process and helping her students explore their educational goals and navigate transitions. She is pleased to have an opportunity to teach and encourage students at Fusion. In her spare time, Sarah likes watching documentaries, exploring flea markets around LA, hiking, and reading.
