Description
Parent engagement is one of the key aspects to success in the therapeutic process with children and teens. At times that aspect can get overlooked and negatively impact the process. In this conversation, Dr. Victoria Grinman will discuss the significance of parent engagement in therapy, the right questions to ask a therapist in order to know if they are the right fit for the child and family, and some ways to approach resistance from the child with compassion and confidence. This talk is meant to be engaging and empowering for anyone searching for more ways to support themselves and a child/teen.
