EVENT - Wake Up and Maximize Your Life
12/4/2018 6:00 pm – 07:30 pm | Campus Events
Are the pressures of parenting and life causing you to make unhealthy choices for yourself?
Are you giving up on your own self-care in order to take care of everyone else?
Are you constantly feeling behind and worried there is not enough time in the day?
Do you find yourself struggling with the “parenting paradox” – the high levels of worry, doubt, helplessness, anxiety and depression that accompany the joys of parenting? Self-care, mindfulness and meditation are the solution. While these “buzz words” are all the rage and backed by science, how can you practice these concepts in a way that is easy and effective?
Join Molly Carmel and Patricia Moreno for an evening devoted to helping you to be your very best. Learn and practice simple, effective strategies you can use immediately. These tools will help you to be more present, less reactive and more compassionate with yourself, so you can be a model of these empowering behaviors for your children and family.
