EVENT - “I AM” – promoting healthy relationships with food, movement and mind-body connections
6/15/2017 9:00 am – 11:00 am | Campus Events
“I AM” is a program focused on empowering girls and women to feel more connected with each other and their authentic selves. The program focuses on learning to appreciate and acknowledge our bodies, defining ourselves by how we feel and what we do – connecting with who we are outside of physical descriptors. Collaborative workshops and hands on exercises involving movement, exercise, and food allow participants to leave empowered and unique while connected to peers through new experiences. Ashley Hurst and Kajal Mehta will be presenting a free, abbreviated experiential workshop for professionals and parents. They will be offering this to adolescent and teenage girls through the summer, as well!
There will be some movement involved in this presentation. So, please wear something comfortable.
Breakfast and coffee are on us!
