EVENT - Bridging the Gap: Parenting in the Digital Age
4/19/2018 6:30 pm – 08:00 pm | Campus Events
Ever feel like you’re having a hard time understanding your teen? They’re in the midst of so many changes that affect their brains and their bodies. Understanding how they’re developing in their adolescent years can help bridge the gap that can exist between you and your child.
Join us for a parent-centered workshop and interactive discussion with Jay Alicea M.S.ED, and Fara Jones, MA, LCSW. They’ll cover important information about child and adolescent development, along with addressing pros and cons of digital media use, and tips for managing screen-time, dealing with cyber-bullying, and internet safety.
This event will be even more powerful if you bring your own stories, examples, challenges, and triumphs to share with the group. We’re excited to create a safe space to work through these important issues together. Don’t miss the chance to be part of the conversationEvent Location:
