Yoga & Wellness Teacher
Tiffany is the founder of Happie Kids, programming created to inspire a world of open-minded, empathetic, respectful, active and happy humans. She is the former communications manager and staff writer at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Boston, MA and Boston Ballet. She combines her lifetime of interest in the arts, health and wellness, with her lifelong passion for helping others, to inspire her both personally and professionally. Tiffany has over 20 years of experience in wellness, art, nutrition, fitness and yoga; and is a trained classical ballet dancer. Tiffany holds a BS in Health Sciences and is completing her MS in Health Sciences. She received her training in holistic nutrition and wellness from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, New York City, NY. She is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) fitness specialist; Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) fitness instructor; and a YogaFit trained yoga teacher specializing in working with children and young adults. Tiffany designed a pilot program for preschools, interweaving mindfulness and relaxation practices into the curriculum and has enjoyed seeing the children self regulate with calming breathing techniques and yoga! She recently created a program for teens, designed to ignite peace and inspire empathetic leadership, using nature an art as the springboard for learning. Her most recents work was part of a Harvard Chan School of Public Health team that helped firefighters become healthier through better eating and increased physical activity. Tiffany concentrates on understanding the relationship between positive psychology, stress reduction and specifically, meditation and yoga, and their effects on health. Tiffany believes that nourishment is not only food and sustenance, but the practice of living a happy, holistic life, feeding the body, mind and spirit.
