Marci Cole teaches primarily Spanish and psychology, and strives to give her students the tools to explore their interests in language, culture, and the human mind. Marci earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and Spanish at Drew University, where she also went on to earn her Master of Arts in Teaching in Spanish and special education. While at Drew, she had the opportunity to study abroad in Barcelona, an invaluable experience that allowed her to improve her language skills and immerse herself in the Spanish culture. She completed her teaching internship at Franklin Township High School in New Jersey, where she then worked for two years, teaching Spanish 1 and 2. As a non-native speaker of Spanish, Marci strives to inspire students with an “if I can do it, you can do it” mentality.
In her spare time, she likes finding grammar and spelling errors in published materials, singing in her car, and skating with her roller derby team.
