Nancy Kington

Nancy came to Fusion to fulfill her passion for teaching and mentoring middle and high school students. She is most excited about Fusion’s commitment to help launch students as whole persons who will be prepared to explore and create a better world by contributing their unique giftings in productive and meaningful work, healthy relationships and lifelong learning.

Nancy began her career with a Bachelor’s degree in Magazine Journalism and a minor in English Literature from California State University, Long Beach. She then worked in corporate communications before returning to school to pursue a Master’s Degree in Christian Apologetics. In the subsequent years, she was involved in different homeschool and charter school communities as a home educator, community volunteer and board member. She also worked as a business partner with her husband for over two decades, directing marketing and administration, and completed various freelance writing and editing projects. Nancy believes learning is a journey that never ends, but the process is one with more joy and adventure than students can anticipate.

In her free time, Nancy enjoys making memories with her husband of over 25 years and their two teenaged children. They like to watch old and new movies, volunteer together and go camping.
