Keran Davison

Assistant Director

Keran Davison graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in English and received a single subject
teaching credential in English from San Francisco State shortly thereafter. She has also studied
the teaching of composition in the graduate English program at San Francisco State and earned
a Composition Certificate that qualifies her to teach composition at the college level. She has
taken part in numerous programs to further her education and training in teaching such as the
Breadloaf School of English at Middlebury College, the Bay Area Writing Project at UC Berkeley
and the California Literature Project at UCLA.

She has taught in both public and private high schools in northern and southern California and
has experience teaching English, Composition, Journalism and SAT prep. She has also had
extensive experience working as a tutor and has some experience working with students
through their college admissions process as well. Keran believes that learning is a process and
that all students have the ability to succeed academically.
