Jenny has been teaching high school Social Studies for a REALLY long time and has loved every minute of it! She graduated from Loyola University of Maryland in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Secondary Ed. Then she got a Master of Arts in History from the University of Richmond…because that’s where you study when you want to write a thesis about Civil War monuments, obviously!
She is currently working on Masters in Educational Technology at Boise State University and thinks it’s really fun to infuse her lessons with digital tools. Somewhere along the way, Jenny also became certified to teach high school English classes. Teaching is Jenny’s passion and one of her favorite things in life is working one-on-one with teenagers.
When Jenny is not teaching, writing lesson plans, or doing homework for her graduate classes she chases around her three crazy sons, three black cats, and four chickens. She also spends time with her husband and bakes a mean gluten free chocolate cake.
