Keri Cardon

Teacher / Mentor

Keri is so excited to be returning to the Fusion Math Department! Though she was born in the Bay, she grew up in the Pacific Northwest where she learned to love evergreen trees and the rain. She got her B.S. from the University of Washington with a minor in applied math and a major in biology. She was part of the honors department there and worked as an NSF Scholar doing plant genetics research.

After college, Keri spent nine years running educational and residential programming for marginalized teens and young adults in Seattle, Washington and Santa Fe, New Mexico. She’s back at Fusion part-time while she is working on her M.Ed. from Prescott College, where she was awarded a full Change Maker’s Fellowship.

When she’s not studying or having fun with her students, Keri tries to get on the trails with a pack on her back or on her bike as much as she can.
