Amanda Williams

Humanities Teacher/Mentor

Amanda Malika Williams teaches History and English and also serves as Services for Students with Disabilities Coordinator.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education at the University of Guyana in South America and Masters of Science in Education and Special education at Touro College in New York.

She worked as a history and law teacher for over nine years, coordinated departments and managed extra-curricular events at high schools in New York. She spent over seven years working with special education teacher and students.

Amanda enjoys reading, travelling, singing, dancing and volunteering. In 2010 she traveled to Tbilisi, Georgia to teach civic lessons to Georgians high school students as part of an exchange program.

In 2011 Amanda joined her high school students in a putting on fashion show, poetry and karaoke singing competition.
